Reading The Hobbit

“Reading The Hobbit” is a course designed for someone who has never read The Hobbit before and has no familiarity with Middle-earth or Tolkien’s other works. We will not take into consideration these other works such as The Lord of the Rings. The goal of the course it not to analyze the book as a literary text, but to read it for enjoyment.
